gutundgut was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ ) to examine the tourism potential of the southern Albanian municipalities of Vlora, Himara and Konispol and to develop a sustainable tourism strategy.
A strategy for sustainable tourism in the southern coastal region is being developed in close cooperation with residents and local stakeholders. Initially, the focus was on getting to know, getting to know and experiencing the region. Christian Müller and Rafael Enzler traveled to the region to gain a comprehensive overview of the infrastructure, tourism offers, communication channels, cooperation between service providers and local ideas.
The insights and potential gained were bundled into an overall concept - for future key experiences that are regionally based and have a lasting impact thanks to the local people.
