The "Nature Cooking" project, a pilot project of the "Destination Lab" - a knowledge and network platform for increasing innovation, sharing experiences and knowledge management for Swiss tourism destinations - is gathering pace. Based on the design thinking method, participants from destinations and Swiss parks, service partners and chefs have developed a wide range of offers for natural cooking and eating experiences on fireplaces without fossil fuels.
Favorite offers such as solar stoves and sand batteries are currently being planned and tested as energy sources. The aim is to subsequently implement these sustainable cooking solutions in tourist destinations throughout Switzerland.
