Agrotourism Qeparo in Albania, Analysis and Master Plan

Together with an international team of experts from the areas of tourism, agriculture, spatial planning, and sustainable economic development, gutundgut has developed a concept for the cross-sectoral, economic development of the coastal region around Qeparo in the south of Albania. A potential analysis, the implementation of new approaches for sustainable tourism development in content and spatial terms and the product development with a focus on agrotourism stood at the center of the project. For this purpose specific economically, ecologically and socially sustainable business cases were developed. The process was accompanied by a number of workshops and a close collaboration with local representatives as well as NGOs. gutundgut helped meaningfully link content-related, spatial, organizational and communicational approaches.
